Vegetable Shortening

In any cooking, but especially baking, your choice of fats and oils play a lead role in achieving your designed flavour, texture and stability. Our creaming vegetable shortening will help you craft beautiful products that meet your individual needs.

Vegetable shortening has a range of uses, including as a key ingredient in fondant, flower paste and frosting. You can also use it as a partial or full substitute for butter to achieve white frosting for piping on cakes or cupcakes. 

INGREDIENTS:  vegetable oil, emulsifiers (435, 471), antioxidant (307b). Contains soy. Best stored between 15-25 degrees. 

Packaged in a kitchen that utilises gluten and dairy, therefore may contain traces of these ingredients.

Available in 500g portion sizes.
