Made a car cake for my sons 2 birthday and was recommended the classic vanilla cake mix, it was denser than normal but still very moist and had lots of great feed back from party guests.
I have tried making my own but honestly for perfection every time it is easier to use SC house made frosting. Holds up well in our climate, easy to work with and tastes great
