What are your trading hours?

Our opening hours are as follows:

Tuesday, Wednesday - Friday 9am-4pm
Thursdays 10am-6pm
Saturdays 9am-12:30pm
Mondays, Sundays and Public Holidays - Closed

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS - CLOSED

Do you bake cakes too?

We certainly do. The Cake & Icing Centre has been a specialty bakery catering to weddings and events since 1973. On premises is our 5-star commercial kitchen where we take classes and also create our own beautiful centrepieces for our customers, using many of the products and brands that we stock in our retail store! 

This is why our staff have such a wealth of knowledge about our products - we are all decorators too! If you'd like to order a cake, please make an appointment for a consultation or email us at sales@cakeandicingcentre.com.au.

Do I have to sign up to shop with Studio Cakes?

You can choose to check out as a registered Studio Cakes member or as a guest. Please note that when checking out as a guest you will still be required to provide certain contact details, including your delivery address, email address and phone number.

Why sign up as a Studio Cakes member?

Setting up an account is quick, easy and free and will enable you to:

  • Save your address and billing details so you can shop quicker next time;
  • Manage your account details and email preferences;
  • Take advantage of special member offers; and
  • Keep up to date with new products.
  • Earn Studio Points and exchange them for discounts
  • View past purchases to check on products you've bought in the past (this comes in handy a lot for customers!)

What Payment Methods are available?

On our website we accept Visa, Mastercard and Paypal. Orders will not be dispatched until payment is received and cleared. All prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

What is the Studio Cakes return policy on retail store products?

- We are committed to our customers shopping with confidence and are happy to discuss a refund in the event that your product is faulty or not fit for purpose. If you change your mind, we are happy to discuss an option for a store credit, within certain guidelines outlined below.

- We will not refund if you changed your mind for any reason, are responsible for the fault in the goods or decide you do not want/need the product. We are happy to discuss how our products work but will not refund the product if you simply decide you do not like it.

- We will, however, provide you with a store credit in the event that you change your mind and the product is kept in its original packaging, unopened, unused and undamaged. This is strictly relating to products that are not consumables.

- Food products (including fondants, sprinkles, paints, edible dusts, edible decorations etc.) can not be returned for a change of mind, even in the even that they are unopened. 

- In the event that your goods are faulty, we will provide a refund via the same payment method that you paid with. For example, if you paid with card we will refund to your card. If you paid on our website, the refund will be automatically processed to the payment method that you used to checkout. Cash refunds are only available if you paid in cash.

Can I make changes to my order before/after it has been dispatched?

We will endeavour to accommodate changes to your order providing that you contact us immediately and your order has not been packaged or dispatched. Unfortunately once your item has been packaged and/or dispatched we can no longer make adjustments.

Can I cancel my order?

To discuss making a cancellation please contact us immediately by phone or email within 2 hours of placing the order, at which point (and at our discretion) money can be refunded less an administration fee. Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been dispatched.
