Use the straight edge side to quickly cover the sides of your cake before scraping flat to create a smooth buttercream finish.
Reverse the nozzle for a textured finish to your cake.
Ideal to 'crumb coat' the cake and keep crumbs out of your icing.
TIP: For best results, use the straight edge to cover the sides and top of your cake. Once coated, use a spatula to smooth over in preparation for decorating.
