Our Studio Cakes Collection is a range of pre-designed cakes with simple, designer finishes available to suit a wide range of events. They require a minimum of 2 days’ notice and are ideal if you need a high-quality cake on a shorter turnaround.

Our bakery also caters to custom requirements. These are fully customisable designs with limited availability. They require at least 2 weeks’ notice so that we can plan, design, and prepare your order to the highest standard. Enquire about our availability and get a quote here.

If your request is more urgent, you are welcome to call our store directly on 3355 3443. While we cannot guarantee availability outside the timeframes above, we will always do our best to accommodate where possible.

Yes. Please include your preferred colours or any messages you'd like added to the cake in the checkout notes. We will do our best to accommodate your requests, and if there are any issues we'll get in touch to chat through the options.

Our cakes are available in a variety of sizes depending on the design. For our online options, each product page includes a serving guide and available options to help you choose the right fit for your event.

If you’re unsure which size will best suit your guest numbers, our team is happy to provide guidance. For larger events requiring additional servings or custom designs, we can also prepare a tailored quote on request.

Yes. We offer local delivery across Brisbane. Delivery for our Studio Cakes Collection starts at $10 for our immediate local area and increases based on the distance from our store. Please let us know if you have a specific requirement for delivery time, otherwise the standard delivery window is between 11am–4pm Tuesday to Friday, and from 1pm on Saturday. Someone must be available to receive your delivery, or it will be returned to our store and a redelivery fee may apply. Custom cakes may have customised delivery costs which will be outlined during the quote process.

Yes. You can select to pick up your cake from our store during checkout.

We are located at 651 Samford Road, Mitchelton, next door to My Bike Shop. We have on-site parking at the rear of our store or nearby street parking is available on Ellworthy Street.

Pick up times are subject to our opening hours. Default weekday pick up times are between 2pm-4pm, and Saturday pickups are from 10am-12:30pm. These will be the collection times assigned to your order unless you request an earlier pick up time.

When collecting, please ensure you have a clear, flat surface in your vehicle (we recommend an empty boot with a non-slip mat) for safe transport. Cakes are delicate, and we cannot take responsibility for any damage that occurs once the cake has left our premises.

Your cake is best enjoyed on the day of your event. If you need to store it, keep it in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight in the box provided. Refrigeration is not recommended unless necessary in extremely hot weather, as it dries the cake. Cold cake is also not nice to eat! If you must refrigerate, be sure to bring it back to room temperature before consuming, which may take a number of hours. Refrigeration will also likely damage your cake if it is finished with fondant decals or figurines, so only do so if absolutely necessary.

Most cakes will remain at their best for 2–3 days when stored correctly. Care instructions are provided upon collection or delivery.

All of the products made in our kitchen, including those made with gluten-free flour and/or vegan ingredients, may contain traces of gluten, eggs, soy, dairy and nuts. This includes decorations and cakes/icings. We use a variety of natural and artificial food colours in our bakery.

Yes. Studio Cakes has been creating custom cakes in Brisbane for more than 50 years. Our bakery specialises in fully personalised designs for weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and other special occasions.

Custom cake orders require at least 2 weeks’ notice as availability is limited and each cake is individually designed, baked, and decorated to suit your event.
