The basic cupcakes were simple and sweet. I particularly appreciated the advisory labels on the box with information to ensure that the cupcakes were kept in their best condition by not placing in the fridge.

This is the first time I have used shortening in a recipe ie Italian buttercream. I wanted to make it as white as possible and by blending the shortening with the butter i was able to achieve that and maintain the flavour of the butter.
Loved the taste and they melted beautifully for the purpose of my recipe.
