STORE CLOSURE - MONDAY 23RD NOV 2020
Last week we received the sad news that, after a long battle with cancer, George Rafanowicz had passed away.
George was loved by so many. A father, grandfather, husband and great friend. His joy, humour and smile can't be replicated by anyone else - they were uniquely his.
Marcus and I were fortunate enough to know George for nearly 6 years. What I learnt about George in that time is that he had a knack for turning everyone he met in to a friend. Sometimes he would have customers in store talking for hours, sharing jokes and telling stories. He was genuinely curious and keen to know people. He was an action taker, always busy with a project. He was a talented musician. He would give you the shirt off his back if you asked for it.
We know there are long-term customers who have forged great friendships with George and Margaret over these past decades, and our love also goes out to you. We will all miss George dearly.
Our store will be closed on 23rd November 2020 as we attend George's funeral service.
A card is available in store for any customers who wish to write their condolences to be passed on to Margaret, and of course you can email us at email@example.com if you're unable to make it in store to sign the card - we can include your message for you.
Lots of love,
